Recruitment Fraud Warning

At CMD, protecting the security and trust of our applicants is a top priority. Unfortunately, individuals and organizations may attempt to impersonate legitimate employers to steal personal information, request money, or falsely promise employment. These activities—known as recruitment fraud—are increasingly common across online job boards, social media, and email.

We will never:

  • Ask you to pay any fees (application fees, training costs, equipment purchases, etc.).
  • Request your bank account information, Social Security Number, or other sensitive data before a formal offer is issued.
  • Conduct interviews solely through unsecured messaging apps or personal email accounts.
  • Make job offers without a structured interview process.

We will always:

  • Communicate using an official @cmd-corp email address.
  • Post authentic job openings only on our official Careers Page and approved job platforms.
  • Provide clear next steps and documentation through our formal hiring process.
  • Verify your identity after a conditional offer and through secure channels. This includes the federal I9 citizenship form and documentation.

Be cautious if you encounter:

  • Job offers for positions you did not apply for
  • Requests for payment or gift cards
  • Poor grammar, unusual phrasing, or urgent demands
  • Email addresses that do not match our official domain
  • Interview requests that bypass a formal process or come from unfamiliar accounts

If you believe you have been contacted by someone falsely claiming to represent CMD:

  1. Do not send money.
  2. Do not click suspicious links or download unexpected attachments.
  3. Report the incident to our HR team at [email protected].
  4. If appropriate, you may also file a report with your local authorities or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at www.ftc.gov.
